Building a Stronger Economic Environment for the Clarenville Area
The Clarenville Area Chamber of Commerce strives to be the principle voice of the business community. The Chamber addresses economic issues and matters of significant interest to businesses for the purpose of enhancing opportunities for members, thus, improving their ability to do business. The Chamber acts as a unified voice for businesses which enables members to accomplish their goals expeditiously.
The Chamber’s mission is to both promote and improve the economic climate of the area, to support the needs and concerns of the business community, and to enhance both the civic and social well-being of the community as a whole.
In addition, the Chamber will work on behalf of local businesses to help eliminate barriers and to solve economic problems. As a result, quality of life will improve drastically for all associated with the Clarenville area.
Established in the late 1960s, the Clarenville Area Chamber of Commerce (CACC), is an outgrowth of the Clarenville Business Association. Since its inception, the “Chamber,” as it is commonly known, has grown to be one of the most respected business associations in Newfoundland and Labrador, with a current membership of 140 businesses. This growth has been due, in no small part, to the confidence and leadership of dedicated volunteers.
