Energy is all around us. We use energy for heating, cooling, lighting and electricity everyday and put it to use in many different settings in which we live, work and play. Capturing solar energy from the sun and wind energy provides access to a ready supply of power that is sustainable, affordable and has less impact on our environment.

SW Energy Inc. is a Newfoundland based company that serves all Atlantic Canada founded in 1998 and incorporated in 2000. SW Energy has worked on many successful projects from commercial, industrial, residential, mobile, and marine applications, utilizing a variety of renewable and energy efficient products and solutions for off grid (remote) and grid connected energy systems. It is the success of these projects that have provided SW Energy with a local and national reputation in the field of renewable and efficient energy.

The Founder and President of SW Energy Inc., Dan Moody had worked in industry in many capacities in the electrical industrial field including field electrical technicians, supervisor, engineering advisor and maintenance planner. Over the past 20 years he has supported a variety of technical projects gaining valuable knowledge and educational training in the industrial electrical and renewable energy fields.

SW Energy provides consulting, design, sales and services to meet the growing demand for energy efficient solutions and technologies such as wind turbines, solar panels, deep cycle battery systems, inverters and chargers, heat pumps and LED lighting systems.

SW Energy continues to invest in research and development through the field testing of products and equipment for reliability, durability and efficiency. Their products are utilized in their new buildings creating a great opportunity to observe renewable and efficient energy solutions.

Renewable energy technology has matured rapidly over the past 10 years and has become reliable, and very cost effective. It has expanded into the main energy stream alongside conventional energy sources due to the escalating global fuel prices and climate change issues.

SW Energy continuously strives to bring quality information, education, products and services on efficient and sustainable solutions to the marketplace.
