Business Excellence Awards

The Clarenville Area Chamber of Commerce created the Business Excellence Awards to acknowledge and honour successful Chamber members. Each year a call for nominations is sent to Chamber members and the general public. The nominations are submitted to the Chamber and judged to determine the winners. The Chamber presents two awards: the Small Business of the Year Award and the Business of the Year Award. The Small Business of the Year and Business of the Year Awards are designed to recognize businesses from the local business sector that demonstrate a continued passion for excellence and who promote the advancement of responsible business leadership within our community. The Chamber also created the Business Hall of Fame Induction. The Induction recognizes individuals from the Clarenville and area business community that have made or are still making contributions, and have gone that “extra mile” to promote a positive economic environment and to enhance the climate for doing business in the Clarenville area. The Business Excellence Awards are held annually during the Chamber’s Annual General Meeting.
